1. Accident & Illness Cover (Mandatory)

If your dog sadly passes away or must be euthanised due to an accident or illness during the policy year, we’ll pay the agreed value. This even covers incidents related to war, terrorism or civil unrest.

2. Medical Expenses

Choose this add‑on to have ICEA LION settle vet bills for injuries or illnesses, up to your cover limit. If you hit the limit, simply renew by paying the extra premium. All claims are reimbursed; you pay upfront and we pay you back.

3. Theft & Straying

Worrying about a missing dog? If yours is stolen or wanders off and never returns, we’ll pay the agreed or market value, so you’re never out of pocket.

4. Public Liability

Your dog’s mischief won’t cost you. If they damage property or injure someone, we cover up to KES 2,000,000, no deductible here.

Deductible: 10% of the sum insured for Sections1–3
No Funeral Cover: We don’t include burial costs
Value & Age: Dogs must be worth at least KES 20,000, aged 6 months–10 years higher value or security dogs get a custom quote
Exclusions: Roaming mongrels aren’t covered
